Well, I feel pretty stupid, because I just went back in to cloud player and started something playing, intending to try the method that Tom suggested, involving using the app switcher, but I found the airpley button in the cloud player itself, slightly above the corner, on the right side, just where it usually is. I guess I'll blame it on not having had dinner yet when I was trying this the first time.
