With the battery software on your iPhone, such as turning on power management, I myself trust the phone electronics to manage my battery for me. I’d have no issue leaving my iPhone plugged in all of the time, and in fact, this will help with charge cycles, which is one of the metrics in the life span of a battery. Whenever this issue comes up, you’ll get tons of contradictory information, some of which comes from the NiCad batteries, which have very different chemistry, and are subject to the memory affect for example. This is why I included the links I did in my previous message.
