I do not know about the 15's but remember that the phone will sit flat with the camera either pointing down to the table or up toward the ceiling, so trying to do FaceTime would be pretty much impossible. You would want a stand that held the phone at more of an upright angle. The stand is a wooden frame with an adjustable piece for the different width phones. I don't know about the extra large phones.
