Recently I have noticed that I'm often not being alerted when an incoming text arrives. This morning I was using the Duo Lingo app and when I came out of it, saw I had two texts messages, and yet I'd not been alerted. Also, when I responded to the text, my friend replied immediately, and although the Iphone made a blip noise, it didn't alert me with a ring tone. I'm wondering whether when I am using certain apps, the ring tone is suppressed and, if the message string is already open, then, again the ring tone is suppressed? Alison rting tone.
