Hi Sieghard,

Well, I’m not sure I can give a lot of examples because I only use it to set it
to speak because the default is to play a sound which I have a hard time
telling if the tone means QuickNav is on or off. So having it speak tells me
exactly which state it is in.

This is both for when you toggle it manually or when it changes automatically
like when you enter an edit field.

I will assume that braille would show it on a braille display.

I also assume that Change Pitch would only apply if speak was on, but I don’t
bother since the speech option makes it quite clear, 😊

Subject: Quick Nav Announcements

Hi, just curious if somebody can give an explanation maybe with example of
exactly what Settings > Accessibility > Voiceover > Verbosity > Quick Nav
Announcements does.

It can be set to the typical options like speak, play sound, change pitch,
braille or do nothing.

Thanks,

Sieghard
