If you want to try Apple Music you also have to download Apple TV and Apple Devices, if you don't and open iTunes you will be prompted to download them. After you download the new apps, all iTunes is good for is Podcasts and Audio Books and if you want to go back to using iTunes you have to first uninstall the 3 new apps.
