I just did a review of voice dream; gave it five stars. The title is: “voice dream – a dream come true”.
I paid for the subscription, gladly. I understand that for some folks coming up with $60 all at once is a stretch; a monthly subscription would be good. A friend pointe out that it would have been better if they’d showed us one of their touted upgrades before asking us to pay. But I love the app; if they could get it integrated with Kindle that would be a game changer and I would love an AI voice. But I think it’s ridiculous this complaining and complaining. You were not promised a perpetually free app after you paid your 10 or whatever dollars it was. In fact, if anybody has a long enough memory, you might remember when Winston himself charged for a major upgrade. I don’t remember the circumstances, but I do definitely remember having to pay for a big upgrade. And I didn’t care. It was worth it. This might be worth it too. It certainly the best app out there if you’re a big book user. Just because Winston Chen decided to have a more hands-on approach, let's not demand every developer has to do this since in fact most of them don't.
