I think I saw that someone else was also experiencing this problem. Every now and then the speech suddenly softens and I need to turn up the volume. Then, without any apparent reason, the volume returns and I need to turn it down. It isn’t just Voiceover as I am using Duo Lingo and even the speech on that app softens.
