Hi Group,
I always worry about any type of picture/fingerprint/alternative method
of authentication. I worry that my fingers might have gotten dirty or
sticky or callused or that I wouldn't be able to position my iPhone
properly for the AI within the authentication process to properly
identify my 'ugly' face.
That is why I try avoiding two factor authentication.

Peter,
I can’t answer your question, but am wondering if you are finding a
problem with it being turned on?
Thanks,
Pam

iPhone and iPad
Hello,
I recently wanted to turn two factor authentication off but!
I read on the web that if off, and you turn it on, you have only 2
weeks to turn it off again.
In the 1 year since getting my first iPhone, it must have been turned
on and I didn't know.
Maybe the store clerk who sett me up to get started with SIRI and
VoiceOver, did it.
I guess that means I can't turn it off.
If anyone knows how to, please let us know.

I have never set up two factor authentication on my iPhone or
iPad. I have recently gotten the airpods pro 2^nd generation, and
it seems that in order for them to switch automatically between
the iPhone and iPad, I would need to be using two factor
authentication.
Are there any downsides to using two factor? Also, does this mean
that every time I open my phone, for example, that in addition to
face ID or entering my PIN, I would also need to enter the code
sent to me?
Thanks for any information.
Pam
