Hi Richard, this is why whenever I change septic lines, I put the word was in front of the last subject. That way everybody knows that I'm modifying a little bit. But still staying a little bit on topic.

To add to Sieghard's message, for those of us who use threading on the iPhone, when you simply hit reply and change the subject, the message still shows up in the thread of the original subject. So, for me, I wouldn't have even seen the message because I was deleting the messages about iCloud mail because I do not use it.
I only opened this one because it was from Sieghard and I figured he had something useful to add. Which, of course he did. Always start a new email with your own subject line when it is not about the previous subject.. .

Hello Alison,

If you want to ask a question, can you please start a new message instead of simply replying to an existing message and changing the subject.
This is the second topic now where you highjacked the message thread about iCloud mail and deleted the subject and replace it with your own.
This is considered a No-No on mailing lists and is very bad form.

Best regards,
Sieghard

Recently, after listening to my iPhone via the Bluetooth headphones or Ibuds, my iPhone goes silent, although can still be used via the bluetoothheadphones.
I have to tell Siri to switch Bluetooth off and then back on in order to resume normal service.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi Malcolm,

My friend has not been able to send email from her iCloud account all afternoon. So I finally called Apple support. At first the agent thought I was talking about iMessage, but when I finally, got her thinking email, she said that there is an ongoing problem with the iCloud email. She did not have an idea of when the problem will be solved.

That’s very strange. I just used that email about an hour ago and had no issues.

Hi Malcolm,

I have been working hard this afternoon to help a friend who is having the exact same problem. I thought something got broken in her outlook email settings, but so far, I haven’t found any problems. I have also had her send email to two of my email addresses, and they don’t arrive. She said that they are in her sent folder. If I hear anything about it, I will let you know.

Subject: iCloud mail question?

Hello,

I wonder if anyone can assist me here.

A friend of mine and I have been trying to send messages via our iCloud mail without success.

We have tried Outlook for Windows, our iPhones and iCloud’s website.  We are unable to receive any of the messages that we have sent to a variety of e-mail services including my own domain.

On the iPhones and Outlook messages are in the sent messages folders although they never arrive.  We get no error messages either.

On the iCloud website it states that all systems are operational.

Any thoughts welcome.
