You can remove it from the lock screen and put something else there or not.
Here are the steps for editing the lock screen that Sieghard posted a while back. Adding/removing items on the lock screen in iOS18 By Sieghard Weitzel 1. My phone was locked, I pressed the side button to wake it up. 2. I did a double tap and hold on the time 3. A menu came up with the following: Link a focus, Collections, wall paper 1 of 2, adjustable Customize Add mew lock screen wall paper. If you tap on "customize", you then get the following: Customize wall paper, heading Customize lock screen wall paper, button Customize home screen wall paper, button Now you double tap on "Customize lock screen wall paper" and you get: Cancel at the top left of the screen Done at the top right of the screen Calendar, date, top widget, button - this is your date display which is there by default Clock widget, button - this is the time which is there by default Depth effect, button - I think this lets you blur the background or something like that. Appearance, button - here you can choose automatic, light or dark Next are the Flashlight and Camera icons and there is a remove button for each If you remove one you then get an Add button, it's called something slightly different, but anyways you tap it and you can choose from a bunch of things, you can add Voice Memos, you can even add Voiceover, speak screen, calculator, and more. You can of course remove both items and then press done or whatever it is and not have anything on the bottom of the lock screen. If you have added a widget it will be announced after the clock and date widgets and you can flick down to "Remove" if you want to remove it. If you have not added anything, you will have an "Add Widget, button" below date and above the "Depth effect". The button you are looking for if you want to add an app is called "Add quick action" and as I said, it only is available if you remove either Flashlight or Camera since you can only have two things there so when two apps are present the Add quick action is not there because you can't add more. If it is there it will be right after the "Appearance" button. Sometimes it is on and I don’t know it until my husband asks me to turn it off; it is apparently quite bright. As Parkinson’s Disease progresses the number of errors is going to increase and I would like to eliminate this particular problem. ! -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
