Appearance, button - here you can choose automatic, light or dark Next are the Flashlight and Camera icons and there is a remove button for each If you remove one you then get an Add button, it's called something slightly different, but anyways you tap it and you can choose from a bunch of things, you can add Voice Memos, you can even add Voiceover, speak screen, calculator, and more. You can of course remove both items and then press done or whatever it is and not have anything on the bottom of the lock screen. If you have added a widget it will be announced after the clock and date widgets and you can flick down to "Remove" if you want to remove it. If you have not added anything, you will have an "Add Widget, button" below date and above the "Depth effect". The button you are looking for if you want to add an app is called "Add quick action" and as I said, it only is available if you remove either Flashlight or Camera since you can only have two things there so when two apps are present the Add quick action is not there because you can't add more.
