I don't find the screenreader on the Echo or, for that matter, on Google smart speakers as good as Voiceover is on the iPhone. However, I also have not spend maybe as much time learing how to efficiently use it because if I am looking for a particular YouTube video I would typically use either the YouTube app on my iPhone or simply go to www.YouTubee.com on the computer in either the Edge or Chrome browser. Of course you can simply ask Alexa to look for a particular video on YouTube.
