Heart Rate app incomppatible with Iphone 3gs?

 HI guys: Iwas very excited this morning to try out the free app Heart 
Rate which by putting your index finger on the camera, the phone detects 
your heart rate. However I was disappointed when upon wanting to 
download the app from the App Store, it says Incompatible with Iphone; 
camera needs flash. Are there any heart rate aps that are compatible 
with 3gs?
