Connecting the Type A Port to a Computer, allows for the Transfer of Files between the Computer and the Flash Drive, while Connecting the Lightning Port to an iDevice,, allows the Content on the Flash Drive to be Accessed by the iDevice. All of this works quite well, but these Flash Drives are a few years old now, and the Apps which enabled their Content to be Accessed by an iDevice, are no longer available, in the App Store. So on my Older iPhones, these Flash Drives still wwork, but on my Newest One, since the Apps are no longer supported, they do not. Clearly, I need a longer lasting solution.
