I never did anything to interact with the text. I opened the notes app, opened the particular note I need, the phone read the text and at the end it said, tap twice to edit. I tapped and immediately I saw the text in the keyboard and could interact. The problem began some days ago. If it doesn't press the left and right arrow keys together. If you are not hearing it say anything about QuickNav it is because a setting got changed. Go to settings, Accessibility, VoiceOver, Verbosity, and the 7th item in that menu is QuickNav announcements. It seems to default to silent or maybe a tone, I don't remember, but I always set it to speak so there is no doubt when QuckNav is on or off. QuickNav is for quick navigation which is fine if you want to move the VoiceOver focus around the screen, but to edit anything, it has to be off. I use a Bluetooth keyboard to type. I have several notes. When I want to edit any of them, I can’t see the text in order to make any change. I only hear Activate or add link. It didn’t happen before.
