Hi Eric, I have the mini, which replaces my ipod touch 4g. I have the cellular version and have to say that I am extremely happy with it. Battery life is great, at least two days of hard use, and with the help of Fleksy typing is a breeze. Being able to have the extra screen real estate and run ipad specific apps was the deciding factor for me in deciding to buy the mini rather than the ipod 5g. I don't have an iPhone as I use voip apps for my calling and only therefore only need data, so I replaced the mifi mobile hotspot I was using with my ipod with a data plan and at the end of the day I get way more data for the same amount of money. I an finding it to be a real joy to use. Hope that helps. Victor
