I'd subscribe to an iCal calendar. You can Google for iCal calendars, but one large selection is at http://www.icalshare.com/
This is what I'd do since I have calendars on different systems, but there may be an easier way to do this on the iPhone, similar to how you can add interesting calendars to your Google Calendar by just looking through a list (like holidays, weather forecasts and so on).
