This is also the response I received and a very standard response; I have received many of them about different requests I emailed about and they are all worded in a similar way. I am not sure if it's much better than if they said "Sorry, but we don't this feature and currently have no plans to do so", at least I wouldn't hold my breath about it. I think if anything this is a bigger issue and deals with how much Apple controls the amount of access developers have in general to system wide integration. The problem is that if Apple allowed, for example, Fleksy to integrate their keyboard as a system option then other developers could and would ask for the same, Braille and Touch would want to make their keyboard available, developers would want the ability to integrate SIRI into their apps and so on. Maybe this will happen over time, but I doubt Apple would allow it if they didn't have a way to put very strict limits into place as to how far a developer can go.
