Yes, I have had trouble with the IPad version as well.  It is pretty much
not accessible at all.

It is an advertisement  banner as well as a suggested listening list based 
on what you're currently listening to. Yes, it is a pain but can be made to 
work on the iPhone, however, this is not the case on the iPad. The app is 
useless there.
