I have similar problems at times. Use the earbuds. Maybe they'll come out with a real fix for it someday.

Hi all,

I am very frustrated. I do not know if something is wrong with the
proximity sensor or what. When I speak on the phone my call is
constantly disrupted with my phone cutting in and out continually
switching back and forth between speaker phone and the speaker that is
up to my ear. Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve this? I don't
know exactly how to find and clean this sensor but I have wiped the
surface of the phone with a dry nonscratching cloth just in case that is
the problem. Sometimes shutting the phone down and restarting it seems
to temporarily allow me to make phone calls but it's so random I am not
sure if this is luck. Sometimes I have to get sighted assistance. I have
to shut VO off via triple click home than I get sighted help to turn
speaker phone off as it gets stuck in this mode after I shut VO off.

Thanks for any help,
Christina
