If y'all are able to, update the Kindle app on your iDevices. I just did, and I opened The Wind in The Willows that I bought a while ago, and I am able to read it using speech. I can switch pages.
I don't know if *all* books are accewssible, and I am not sure how to fid out, but I got it to work on one book. I am going to test my other books.
