Hi. I will try to explain this as well as I can. You hold the phone with the screen facing away from you so the home button is on the left. You hold either end of the iphone in your hands so you have 3 fingers from each hand on the screen. Your left index, middle and ring fingers are dots 1, 2, and 3 and your right index, middle and ring fingers are 4, 5, and 6. the help section explains it better than I can but that's basically how you type in braille on your iphone.
