Hi, Unfortunately you're in a bit of a pickle. The two values you gave me were the worste possible values you could have scene.
Essentially: Since you have the newer, unexploitable bootrom, you'll only be able to upgrade to iOs 6. Unfortunately, the latest version of iOs6 is unjailbreakable, which in your situation isn't good as your unlock is relient on a jailbreak to work. In addition, since the modem firmware (Aka baseband) that your phone is running is one that is meant to only be used on iPads, if you attempt to upgrade to iOs6 through iTunes without making a custom ipsw file, the upgrade will simply fail, resulting in you having to create a custom ipsw just to get back to iOs4. I would suggest that you downgrade your baseband to a 05x version whilst still on iOs4, upgrade to iOs6 through iTunes (no custom ipsw needed) and then try to find an imei based unlock for your device. Here http://www.redmondpie.com/how-to-downgrade-iphone-3gs-3g-06.15.00-to-05.13.04-baseband-for-unlock-and-working-gps/ is a good tutorial for downgrading your baseband although the latest version of Redsn0w is newer than the one it mentions. When Redsn0w asks, you have the newer bootrom. Good luck, take your time and be careful. Cheers, Ben. On 5/19/13, BBS <bigbigshawn....@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi Ben.
