Actually my hard drive is attached via USB, but I just plug my stereo amp into
the laptop and no wireless.

  Hi Tom,

Is this a USB hard drive that is connected to your computer via cable or a
network attached hard drive that is connected by cable to a router and then you
are accessing it wirelessly from a laptop? If there is a WiFi connection
involved it could be your WiFi that causes the drop-outs.

  Regards,

  Sieghard

Subject: iTunes with mmusic on a hard drive

My music is skipping a whole lot when playing music through iTunes off my
external hard drive. Don't know if the problem is my external hard drive
failing or my computer. I want to move my music to another hardrive to test it
out. If I do this am I going to have to redirect the path to the new drive?
If so, do I need to delete the old path and how do I do that, or will iTunes
just pick up the new drive with the same path?
