They don't sell the IPod 4th generations on the Apple store site, but you might still find some in the refurbished section, if you want a 4th generation IPod. It says 4th generation or 5th generation.

People have suggested between the Ipod touch 4 and 5 gen but there is no differentiation between the two. There is only the Ipod Touch with different memory capacities.
