First of all, I would like to say hello to everyone, and express my excitement and thanks for joining this group. I feel like a could learn a lot and in general I'm just very glad to be here. I am all most blind with a complex set of vision problems. I have had my ophone for about year and have learned a lot from a wonderful friend of mine. The Iphone has opened a lot of doors for me and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Here's my first problem, that I hope you can all help with. I use my phone which is a 4s with voiceover and I have the colors inverted and the text set to the highest possible. The problem is this, when I open my email, on the scream I can see from who it's from and the subject, when I flick to the right voiceover speakswho the email is from, flick again and it speaks the subject line, flick again and it speaks the date sent, when i flick again it speaks the tabs at the bottom for example move, delete, etc. it doesn't read the body message to me and the details button is pressed. If I turn voiceover off by tripple clicking the home botton and then place a finger on the screen and scroll upwards, the message appears on the screen and then I turn voiceover back on and it reads the message to me and as I flick through the message it reads to me the different parts of the message. Is there a way for voiceover to read the email messages to me without me having to turn voiceover off, scroll, and back on? I would appreciate any help that anyone can provide. Regards Zoe P.s.
