I haven't done a new iTunes install in a while, but I thought the "Tones" or "Ringtones" folder was there by default.
Anyhow, it really shouldn't matter, if you create that folder and put a ringtone or a few ringtones in it, then go to iTunes and go to "File" and "Add Folder to Library" this should work no problem. You could also try to put your ringtones into the Automatically Add to iTunes folder, then open iTunes and see if that creates a Tones or Ringtones folder and moves your ringtones into it. Please write to me off-list at siegh...@live.ca if you still can't get this to work and I'll walk you through it on the phone or via Skype since this really should work and once you get the hang of it it's not hard.
