Hello Chris,

I just put my phone in airplane mode. I reopened MBraille and used the dot
command for the help menu, which is .help. It opened just fine and I was able
to read through it. Of course, one will be limited to the airplane mode
functions when it is turned on. HTH.

The help is inside the app itself. I do have a question, can we read this in
airplane mode for example?

I agree Chris. Granted I need to get the hang of this ap but already it
seems to be more user friendly... just in the hand placement than
brailletouch. Just my opinion.

To me now Mbraille is out there is no excuse in the delay for Grade 2
support in BrailleTouch. Apparently this app was in development for only a
few months and look at where they are already at 1.0. BrailleTouch however
has been developed for years and still no grade 2. Not impressed but
that's just me.

On first glance this looks like a great app. I find it really difficult
to
do the "for" contraction even with their advice it seems a little hit and
miss.
I think it's best feature is the ability to send messages and things
write
from the Braille keyboard by typing in shortcuts. This makes it as if it
is
integrated into the operating system, well as close as it is possible to
do
that at any rate.
I brought Braille Touch and though I liked it I feel it has been six
months
now and still no grad 2 braille which we were promised. I know these
things
take time but a number of Braille input apps in the store are now
offering
this.

For $10 more, you get tweet, fb, five other languages, contractions?
That is a very good deal. They way I see it is this... Either you like
writing in uncontracted braille? Maybe BrailleTouch is the app for you.
If
you prefer writing in contracted braille? Then mBraille is the app for
you.
They both are great apps. Thanks for sharing. I just joined the email
list
for mBraille.

Yes there is a help file when you download the app. You can tweet
with the free version and also get help with the app. To Hi Annie.
Some of the languages supported are: English, Danish, Norwegian,
Scandinavian. I know there's a few more. If you want to help it's
best to join the email group as the we are constantly dialoging with
the developer. There's supposed to be another release next week so
it's ongoing with more languages to come.

Hi all. MBraille is now available. As a tester, I can say that this
app is awesome as it supports contracted and uncontracted Braille and
it
also is in 6 languages. You can also tweet, facebook, send a mail
message, and text as well as perform some callendar functions. You
can
also do a google search from the app. It costs 30 dollars. There's
also an email list. To subscribe send a blank message to
mbraille-subscr...@lists.mpaja.com After sending you will get a
confirmationmessage to reply to and then you are on. If you have any
questions that's a great list and the developer is constantly making
improvements. Also if there are any questions I'll be happy to
answer
them as well as any of the other testers. There is a free version
which
I know allows for tweeting. Enjoy!
