I also use AroundMe, and in some ways its searching options are simpler. But since the switch to iOS 6, I've found it to be much clunkier to use it for sending addresses to a GPS navigation app. And I find the category breakdowns for POIs in "Where To?" more helpful. In order to get public transportation options, you have to back out and cancel to change your navigation options, and it's not as simple to send your address to such a wide range of navigation apps easily, compared to using "Where To?".
