Rose, I guess we agree. I'm not much on having to hunt around to find the hidden what ever or collect the clues bla-bla-bla. I guess I find most games a waste of my time. Every now and then, I will play run for president on my iPhone but I have to really be board or in the mood. I'm not really sure which it is. Some may ask the question so then what do you do for fun. My reply would be, play music or listen to music, read a novel, go outside and get some air or take a walk etc. I can find so many other things that I'd rather do rather then to sit there playing games. -------

Yeah, I don't do well with many games but I had run For President on my PC years ago and Tom and I both loved to play it. I have played it on the phone also but these days I find it rather boring, I destination Mars and something else also. I used to have a lot of Kitchen games but in Windows 7 they just don't seem to play well so they are not on this computer. I played Yahtzi and poker a lot. Solara on the other hand is something I am not game savvy enough to figure out. I could not master any part of Papa Sangre I got stuck in Night Jar in the air lock, I had played a lot of Stem Stumper, then traded phones with my husband and lost the level I was on, then have never played back up to that point. I play Cribbage in real life but have not managed to get the app for the phone to work. I can get blackjack to work so I play that, sometimes Roll It also although sometimes I get frustrated trying to find the dice after I have rolled them. I just want buttons in a logical order to work. My husband is playing clever Clues, I usually get the words, and can spell them but hunting for the letters which seem to me to be randomly placed drives me crazy. My husband half the time comes to me to solve his clues while he punches in the correct letters, he can't spell and I can most of the time. Keep it Simple seems to work best for me. I give up easily since there are books, newspapers, and such I can do well. Well, I flicked right and I flicked left and flicked up or down and I double tapped this that and the other and was still bored with this game. I kept thinking my time could be better spent then trying to figure out a game I only have a passing interest in. My wife says I just suck at playing games! You've had a zillion games both on the computer and on your iPhone and not a one of them seemed to please you except for "Run For President" Rich Destino wrote that game as I recall along with Destination Mars. Both games are available for iPhone. I don't know why, they just make me laugh because of the humorous comments in between. Maybe to many games just tae themselves far to seriously. ------- Regards, Alan Go Chicago Bears in 2013! Teenagers; Tired of being harassed by your stupid parents? Act now!!!!! Move out. Get a job. Lots of luck, I have progressed only slightly in level 1. I guess games have been so inaccessible to me most of my life that I have problems playing most of them, fruit machine is about my level of game play, LOL. I tried Info com games back in the 1980's but never did well with them and there are some games on the BrailleNote, again, I usually never come near to completing them, after I try a few times I just give up, go read a book or do my e-mail or and this one is not something I want to do, household chores. Hi All, Thanks so much for this. I installed this game because I guess I'm a wanna-be too. <grin> I have never been much on playing games and I liked the music when this game first opened along with the sound effects but quickly found out that I couldn't hear what voice over was telling me. I found the buttons for music and sounds and turned them off. I was bamboozled by what I heard. I've never played a city building game in my life and have only played one or two other games from my friend Jim Kitchen. I did write one of the Harry Potter games for him but that was the extent of my game playing. This does sound like a much more advanced kind of game so I look forward to it so I suppose I'll be back with other questions. ------- Regards, Alan Go Chicago Bears in 2013! This link was sent in an earlier email. How much it helps can be debated. Basically, you flip left and right to pick a selection you want to do. Rather it be quest, or arena to fight other real life players if your own level is level 11 or higher, or building or extending your castle and it's shops. This also depends on if you have enough cash and or esper points. If you have ever played a RPG game, this can be somewhat like that. You have characters that you will advance in levels by quests, you will train your characters with food and gold every other level food and gold change off. The amount of food and or gold raises each level as you go along. Only way you can really learn about the game is just jump in and start playing. Now for the link that was submitted to the list. It didn't help me much, but well, to each his or her own. http://www.gamezebo.com/games/solara/walkthrough-cheats-strategy-guide Oh, and it doesn't give cheats, that can be false advertising in a way lol. -----Original Message----- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of rhonda cruz Sent: Saturday, August 10, 2013 3:46 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: how do i play solara the game. hello everyone, how do i play the game solara. i have it on my iPhone 4. and can't get the hang of it. it sounds like a awesome game. can i get any tips. on how to start. thanks from rhonda. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
