Hi' Here are the steps I took to import a file and change speed of playback in downcast.
In my case I imported a file from filer. I double-tap and hold on it and have one of the options to open in downcast. Then I return to downcast and land in the import file window. Here one can select in which podcast to put the file and one also has to select it. I think that I could have imported multiple files so here's where this could be useful. The default import option was a new podcast. I left it unchanged. I tap import. Then I find the new podcast that has the name imported on date such and such. it shows 1 episode. I play it and flick right until, somewhere at bottom of screen, I find a button labeled "normal speed is on" You can either double-tap and cycle through options or double-tap and hold and open up a list of all available playback speeds.
