Guten Tag Alexandra,

Sorry, no "Delete All" in iOS 7. You can Mark All as Read or Flag All
Messages at once, but you still have to tap on Edit, then double tap each
message to select it and then tap Trash to delete all selected messages.

I guess Apple could include something like "Mark All for Deletion" so that
you could select that option and then tap Trash and I assume they are not
considering this an important feature because most people who actually sync
their mailbox with something like Gmail or Outlook.com will probably not
want to delete their entire Inbox. I would never have a reason for this
because if I deleted all messages in my Inbox then they would also be gone
on my Outlook.com account and hence from all my computers.

There was and still is an option to Delete All in the Trash mailbox and I
very much like the "All Trash" mailbox which you can enable if you tap on
Edit in te main screen of the Mail App. I have 3 email accounts set up on my
iPhone so if I end up deleting a few messages in each I can go to the All
Trash mailbox when I am done, tap Edit and Delete All instead of having to
go to each account individually, go to Trash and do the same.

Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: iOS 7: Deleting all emails in standard mail app

Hello,

I know there's supposed to be this feature that now allows you to delete all

your email messages in your inbox at once. No more need to delete every
single message by swiping up to delete or marking / deleting it. How does
this work exactly?

Thanks,

Alexandra
