Hi Nadia, I tend to be fairly conservative when it comes to whether or not to mess around with the latest OS updates and so on, but I really got curious about IOS 7 and figured that I had nothing to lose by downloading and installing it on my iPhone 4 since I was going to upgrade to a 5S within a couple of weeks anyway. If it turned out to be a disaster I was going to march right down to the AT&T store earlier than planned. Well, the IOS upgrade went off without a hitch and I didn't notice a radical decrease in performance that some people predicted. Mileage, of course, may vary. If you decide to go for the IOS upgrade, you'd be well advised to check the list archive for the recent article regarding what to do to optimize performance for older devices. If you can't find it, drop me a line off list and I'll be glad to send it to you.
