I believe the person who reported it missing might have had SIRI turned off and as Kimber correctly said, SIRI has to be one for Dictation to work. However, while the Dictate button is there, I find myself usually using the shortcut which is a 2-finger double tap in the edit field. Often one has to double tap with one finger to put the cursor into the edit field and at that point it's an easy thing to do another double tap this time with 2 fingers in order to start Dictation.much m
