Just as an FYI, Safari is an Apple app, so if anything needs to be done in Safari, it would also have to be address by Apple. I'm not familiar with the problem described, but it would be interesting if this problem is also seen using Chrome on the iPhone.

In addition to the screen reader, the browser and the site itself, this may also be an issue that needs to be taken up by the various web accessibility organizations who put out specifications and guidelines on developing accessible web sites.

Finding these items can be a challenge on the dynamic sites. I use three finger

Unfortunately, none of these corrections can be used effectively from a 
keyboard. They all require direct interaction with the display.

I don't think this is a keyboard issue, I've tried several keyboards with
the same thing happening.  I'm going to go to apple with feedback on this
