I am not saying that if Mr. X never had wells fargo app, and Mr. Sieghard sent to him the wells fargo app, then Mr. X is able to use the app. Mr. X has to get wells fargo installed, in his account should be registered wells fargo as an app that he downloaded and installed in his iPhone. So if he had installed wells fargo app in his iPhone, the last version, the version that is not accessible pretty well, but he delete it from his iPhone. Some body else, who has the older version of wells fargo app, send this file to Mr. X, then he place this file in his iTunes folder, and sink his iPhone. In his apple account Mr. X has registered wells fargo app, just he is replacing the version of app in his iPhone. I am not saying that Mr. X never had installed wells fargo app, He has to got this app in his iPhone before. Again, I am not saying that some body is sending an app for free, like you said. I am saying if is possible to replace the version of an app that the user had stored in their apple account, in iCloude, but later he needs to downgrade this app using a older version of the app store somwhere or taht somebody else send it. I think that apple is looking that Mr. X has the app installed, so is not fraude in this operation.

You cannot use an app sent to you by anybody else. Apps are tied to specific
Apple ID's and even free apps cannot be shared. In other words, you cannot
download for example Skype, which is a free app, email the app to me and I
then put it in my mobile applications folder and sync it to my phone.
If this was possible people could get away with sending paid apps to their
friends who could then install or sync them to their device without having
to pay.

If one has a back up on their computer of a previous version, then the
answer is yes. What one would need to do first is to delete the current
version from the phone. I usually make sure in iTunes that I have turned off

"automatic syncing" in the iTunes preferences. This is so I don't mess up.
Next, I connect my phone and highlight my device, tab to apps, check it with

spacebar and then tab to sync apps and check that. Tab over until you find
the list table of all your apps. You will need to arrow down until you hear
Wells Fargo. This will be unchecked. Check it with the spacebar. Tap to
either the sync button (I think) and enter on it. This will restore the
previous version of Wells Fargo back on the phone. HTH.

I'm glad you had a backup on your computer. To answer your question
Beverly, there is no way to send an version of an app over the iCloud. In
fact, the advantage of creating a backup on ones computer is in situations

like this when an app becomes broken. When one backs up there apps to the
Cloud, it's the most current version that will be placed back on the
phone. I hope this will assist you in the future. I learned the hard way
when I first got my phone and began updating.

individuals can't log in, or know that one is entering their user name
