Hi Denise, If that is the case you might want to just delete the Skype app and redownload it because I have no problem whatsoever. If I sign out of my account I have 3 buttons:
Sign in with a Skype Name Sign in with a Microsoft Account Create a new account I have merged my Skype Name with my Microsoft account which is my Outlook.com email address so I use the Sign in with a Microsoft Account option. Once I double tap on that I have a field for my user Id which is my Outlook.com email address and the password and everything behaves normally as far as having the virtual keyboard and typing.
