Sorry, I do not have any tips other than to take your time, and once you have finished typing the word be sure to flick one finger right to enter the word. Once you do this you can flip up to entered in the dictionary.
If you flick up or down before you enter the word, Fleksy will choose a word. New line hope this helps.
