Hello,

After reading on this list about the problems people were having with the
VoiceOver volume getting stuck at 35% with the only fix to reset the phone,
I disabled the VoiceOver volume changed using buttons.

Then, the other night, while playing iFarkle, I needed to lower my VoiceOver
volume, and did so by swiping up with two fingers to initiate a SayAll of
the screen's content, and pressing the volume down button until it got down
to where I wanted it. Now, I realize I shouldn't have been able to do this,
given that I had changed the setting, but I didn't think much about it at
the time. When I left the game, I tried to reset the volume to a normal
level, and couldn't do it using the same technique. So, I went to the
voiceover settings, looking for somewhere to jack the volume up again. I
couldn't find anything, which makes me wonder how you're supposed to be able
to adjust the volume of VoiceOver if that setting is turned off.

Then, when I got sick of the annoyingly low volume, I decided to go back
into iFarkle and try to adjust it there, and lo and behold, it worked. I was
able to turn the volume up, using the volume up button while VoiceOver was
speaking. So, apparently this setting is not consistent while within certain
apps.

I thought people who are stuck with their volumes low might want to try this
approach for resetting their volume back above 35%. It sure seems easier
than resetting the phone. I haven't tested this within other apps, but was
really glad to find it worked in iFarkle.
