Hi Ari, I think several headsets do this, but I can say for sure that my Jabra Supreme works this way. If you fold the little boom microphone the headset is not just in standby, but it is turned off. If your phone rings and you want to pick up with the headset and you don't already have it unfolded and on your ear, you can just unfold it and that will turn the headset on and pick up the call. If you are already wearing it on your ear youc an just say "Answer" to answer the call or you can push on the main button to answer/hang up.
The Supreme is definitely a larger unit compared to some others, but I find it comfortable and it is on your ear, not in your ear. It is loud and clear. However, it does lack the ability to Play/Pause music or audio books so if I were buying a new headset now I would probably take a very serious look at the Plantronics Voyager Legend since it seems to be one of the few single earpieces if not the only one which has Play/Pause functionality.
