Regarding these play pause functions on headsets, I just got an email
reviewing the new Jawbone ERA Slim. It claims to not only have
play/pause but has prev/next as well. At least that is what the reviewer
claimed in his write up. Just an FYI for anyone seeking those functions
in a mono BT headset.

Hi Ari,
I think several headsets do this, but I can say for sure that my Jabra
Supreme works this way. If you fold the little boom microphone the headset
is not just in standby, but it is turned off. If your phone rings and you
want to pick up with the headset and you don't already have it unfolded and
on your ear, you can just unfold it and that will turn the headset on and
pick up the call. If you are already wearing it on your ear youc an just say
"Answer" to answer the call or you can push on the main button to
answer/hang up.
The Supreme is definitely a larger unit compared to some others, but I find
it comfortable and it is on your ear, not in your ear. It is loud and clear.
However, it does lack the ability to Play/Pause music or audio books so if I
were buying a new headset now I would probably take a very serious look at
the Plantronics Voyager Legend since it seems to be one of the few single
earpieces if not the only one which has Play/Pause functionality.

Subject: Bluetooth headset with foldable mic mentioned on this list.
A while back, someone on this list mentioned that they had.a bluetooth
headset with a mic that folded into the headset when not in use. Folding the
mic into the headset would cause it to go into standby or something, and
when unfolded, the headset would be ready to be used with the phone again.
Can anyone remembre the name of this headset?
Thanks,
Ari
