Thanks, that is really helpful, I have two phones and have been able to reply to a message now which is a bonus. I still can't delete them, in a message list, to the far left, I managed to get to a point where it says delete and then the message details, I double clicked that but the message didn't seem to go and it just said delete after that. The most frustrating thing is that I can't seem to edit what I have typed in to a message.

It looks kind of like an instant messaging screen where you have all of your messages back and forth going down the screen with a place to type your message at the bottom. I'm not sure if you're aware of this yet or not, but you can move between objects on your screen by flicking left and right. You don't always have to explore the screen by moving your finger around. Also, once you hear VoiceOver read an object, you can activate it by just double tapping anywhere on the screen. You don't have to double tap the object itself.
