I also updated my phone last night. What I like about iOS 7.1 is the notification centre is how it displays my appointments for the day.
What I don't like is that apple mucked around with search in calendar. I use to go into search and navigate through the list of my appointments. Now I have to work out how to bring up them. I'm still looking to see how I like the rest of changes.
