Okay,
Perhaps we can take a sort of straw poll? Four example, I am using the for S 
and I updated through the cloud. I am having the battery drain issue. Plus, my 
partner, who has a four, but is not a voice-over user, also updated through the 
cloud and has the battery drain issue.

Perhaps, any others that have the battery drain issue could Teles if they also 
updated via the cloud rather than iTunes? This might help us narrow down the 
source of the problem.
