Hi Carla. I thought the Perkins Mini was 16-cells. Please definitely
correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi andrew.
I use the Seika Mini braille display. Although it is a notetaker, it works well
with the iPhone and is small enough, about the size of a paperback book. It is
18 cells.
Hope this helps,
Carla.

Hi all,
I'm considering purchasing a small braille display for use with my iphone. Just wondering what other users recommend? I want something that has a decent number of cells for reading, but is still small enough to fit in a deep pocket. Will even accept a size display the size of the phone if need be. I was maybe thinking the focus 14 blue, or even an 18 cell display if those exist. I mean a display, not a note taker. I already have a 32 cell braille sense, but want something small I can carry in a pocket for if I'm out and don't have my braille sense with me, which whilst it doesn't happen offten, might still be a good thing to have if I want to be private or not disturb others with the talking phone say if I get a message while family members are watching tv. I only use headphones for music and I feel a braille display means I can still use the phone, but be private and quiet, and still be social with those around me when out, where as I feel earphones cut me off from those around
me and I look more anti social.
Just considering at this point, no real decisions made, but I'd enjoy hearing
others thoughts.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Andrew
