Well, this is the oddest thing. I am using both an Iphone 5 and Touch, latest accessible version, whatever that is. I do have different versions of Skype.
On the Touch, I have the latest Skype 4.17.0.126. That is the one I just re-downloaded and still cannot delete. On the phone, I have version 4.6.0.306. The App Store shows I do have an update, but on the phone with this old version the delete function is working. So, I am not going to update at this time. It is odd that the newer version doesn't work for me. I wonder if there is something inherent in the Touch. That too is running the latest IOS. Just one of the wierdnesses I a finding this week... If I tap a new digit, it is added to the end of that number and the delete key at the bottom of the screen won't even erase that last entered digit. Maybe I should delete Skype and reinstall.
