This is a really unorthodox approach, but I find it works best for keeping my
place in a long document in iOS. I turn a brf or brl document into pdf, which
doesn't destroy it or change the formatting at all. You can use any word
processor that saves or exports to pdf. Then I open the document in iBooks and
turn Braille translation off. this all assumes you have a braille display.

If you don't have a braille display, and you want to read a translated Braille
file (I assume this book is in that format) then you won't be able to read it
with speech in iOS. You would have to back-translate the file with Kurzweil,
NFBTrans, or some other specialized software that will do this on your computer.

Is the book available in other formats besides Braille?

Hth,
teresa
