Hi I don't know the answer to that one, but would like to know this as well. If I try to do that with voice over being on, the phone thinks you want to do dictation, which of course is no good at all. It does not seem to allow you to record whatever is happening. On the same subject, are there any accessible imodicons that work in whatsapp, so one can know which ones you are inserting in a message? If I look in the apple store I see a few apps with this, but the one for Ios 7 seems to think that one should wait before installing, as updates should be coming along.
