I think this a bug when using external keyboards. I've reported it to apple
accessibility.

but am researching it for a friend who finds a bug when using this feature,

I do have it turned on in settings, plus I have "speak auto correction"
turned on under "accessibility", but only hear "misspelt" and that is all.
